Does your child's singing around the house, especially to the most current hits of HSM remind you of your own childhood fondness for the classics like The Sound of Music, Wizard of OZ and Annie? Then this camp sounds like the perfect opportunity to introduce them to the basic techniques of vocal and tone production, breathing exercises and demonstrations, using a repertoire selection from some of the most famous classical and current musicals. A time for visual art will be added daily to emphasis the musical/musicals of the day. Parents are invited to an informal presentation of the students' work on Friday.No prior vocal training or musical experience required only a genuine interest and desire to learn and participate. Students will be encouraged to sing!
