The Lower School Library houses over 19,000 volumes and subscribes to 20 periodical subscriptions for students, families, and faculty. Developmentally appropriate access to online database subscriptions is provided for student research through the LS Library. The Library/Media Curriculum offers opportunities for learning in library usage, research skills, literature, and media literacy. The LS Library/Media program also offers experiences such as Author-In-Residence and professional Storytellers.

Open checkout is on Monday - Friday, 8:00am-8:45am.  Families are welcome to participate. Stop by during Open Check Out hours, or send an email, and Mrs. Hines will set up an account for you. 

If you need a different time to browse and check out books, please email Laura to set up an appointment.

Classes visit the library on a varied schedule for the remainder of each day. BCC uses the LS Library space after school Monday - Friday.

The Middle and Upper School Media Center houses over 18,000 volumes of fiction, non-fiction, reference, and biography sources.  We also subscribe to a variety of print and electronic periodicals, eBooks, encyclopedias, databases, and other electronic resources.  Our unique library media curriculum offers instruction in literature, information skills, media literacy, and ethical use of information.

Students, families, faculty, and staff are welcome in the media center to read, research, work on projects and group work, and do homework.
