Lemley Honored with Founders' Award

Cameron Lemley '12 was announced as this year’s Founders’ Award recipient. He was chosen as the senior who best exemplified the characteristics of scholarship, sportsmanship and leadership. Lemley earned Head's List honors all eight semesters in the Upper School, and received the Cum Laude Award for the highest academic average for all four years. He maintained an unweighted GPA of 99 in a schedule that included nine advanced and nine AP–or–beyond courses. Outside the classroom, he is a member of the disciplinary committee, drama club, High IQ club, moot court team, environmental club, admission ambassador club, and served as the president of GDS' International Thespian Society, co-president of the diversity club, and founder of the blood drive committee. Finally, he received best actor and spotlight awards for his GDS theatre work, and sang in our Mixed Review and A Cappella choirs.
