Support is provided in English, math, science, and social studies. Students also learn study strategies for these subject areas. Homework management will be closely monitored by using teachers' online homework pages and the students' agendas.

Bengal Cub Club (BCC)

The Bengal Cub Club, GDS' after-school care, is for Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade students who need care from the time school is out until 6:00 p.m. BCC is also open during teacher workdays, teacher conference days and some school vacations.

The BCC staff includes five teachers and a director who serve two groups of students JK-1 and 2-5.

  • Our youngest Bengals enjoy center time, enrichment lessons, craft activities, movies, recreation time, computer time, and field trips,
  • Older Bengals have supervised homework and study time, as well as recreation time, movies, computer time, and field trips.

Children need to bring an afternoon snack and drink/water bottle to BCC. During full-day operations, a morning snack and lunch will also need to be provided.

A student can attend for as little as one afternoon a week to a full five afternoons in a week. Students must have an enrollment form on file in order to attend BCC.

BCC Rates:

$6 per day (3:00-4:30 p.m.)
$12 per day (3:00-6:00 p.m.)
$20 for 1/2 day - early release days
$36 for full day - teacher work days, school vacations, etc.
$1/minute after 6 p.m.
