"As a GDS parent myself, nothing is more important than a top-notch education for my daughter. As a parent and as an employee, I know Greensboro Day School provides the absolute best overall educational experience for children.  We have never regretted our decision to enroll our daughter here.  I specifically remember when she came home in the 2nd grade and explained the supply and demand theories of economics that she had studied that day, and she gave us real-life examples!  Conversations like this have happened frequently at our house through the years.  It is exciting, humbling and gratifying to see our investment in action."

" I am so proud to be a Greensboro Day Alumnae and to be back at GDS, a place that has felt like my extended family for 20 years. GDS instilled in me many of the fundamentals and foundations for success. Because of my time at GDS, I had the self-confidence to jump into college and the real-world feeling equipped and excited. I  had motivation and discipline that were built from years of balancing all of the extracurricular and social opportunities provided at GDS. I also had a group of friends (including teachers and coaches) that would become an extended network of support for life. I am excited to work with and welcome our new families into our wonderful community, and I can only hope you find GDS to be as rewarding and impactful as I have."

"Community - One of the greatest things for me about GDS is the community of people who I get the chance to work with everyday. Thoughtful, caring, kind, and wise are just a few of the words that come to mind as I think about the teachers and the entire staff here. Knowing that our son Cole has the opportunity to learn from such an incredible group is awesome! We knew when we chose GDS that he would get an excellent education, and his experience has been greatly enhanced by the values and life-long lessons he is learning from his teachers and his friends. Community is so important and we have a very special one at GDS. Come and see us!"

"When I first came to Greensboro Day School 13 years ago, it immediately felt like home.  The support that I get daily in both my personal and professional interests is unmatched.  I am encouraged to take risks, make changes, be a lifelong learner, to lead and to be led.  Now that my children attend, GDS is truly an extension of our family.  My son and daughter thrive academically, socially and emotionally, thanks to their teachers and meaningful experiences in the classroom.  We can't imagine a life without Greensboro Day School."

"I have been a member of the Greensboro Day School community for almost 10 years.  Having had the opportunity to work with students and faculty members in the classroom in Lower and Middle School, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible amount of learning that happens here.  I am most impressed with the teachers!  They are so giving and genuinely caring for our students.  I appreciate that we strive to make everyone feel welcome and embrace diversity on campus.  There is a place for every student here at Greensboro Day School."
