Summer '10 @ GDS!

Dear Families,

Welcome to Summer ’10 at Greensboro Day School. This summer promises to be another fun-filled time for all. Our theme for this year is “Summer Magic!” With that in mind, we know your campers will find unique and interesting ways to learn, laugh, and have a magical summer!

Academically, our Learning and Academic Wheel camps provide an overview of academic courses, with specialized camps in many areas such as language arts and math. We continue to offer GDS Upper School courses for GDS credit with our arts survey, Fit 4 Life and health and wellness, and geometry.

In sports and dance, we are excited to once again offer Wes Miller’s Basketball Academy. Wes will be teaching with our own athletic director Freddy Johnson and special guests throughout the week. Also returning will be Taekwondo, Let’s Get Moving, and the Girls’ Basketball Clinic. New this year is golf! We will also continue to offer soccer, tennis, lacrosse, cheerleading, dance, and horseback riding

In enrichment, our ever popular Legos/K’nex is offered, along with art, Pretty Princesses, Sonny Willis’ amazing drama camps, and many more fun-filled adventures.

All of these offerings are sure to give campers a variety of ways to have a magical summer!
