Affording a Greensboro Day School Education

Greensboro Day School is committed to making its education affordable to families from a wide economic range. Enrolling talented and bright children who bring a variety of experiences and backgrounds is essential to our Guiding Principle of providing our students a socially and economically diverse community.

Please do not assume that GDS is beyond your reach. From need-based aid to payment plans, there are several options available for you to fit Greensboro Day School into your budget. We are eager to work with you, identifying the payment and possible financial aid plan that works best for your family.

It is important to note that all of our financial aid awards are based on demonstrated need — the difference between what a family can afford to pay and their child’s total educational expense, and not on exceptional academic ability or athletic prowess. Our need-based financial aid program begins in Kindergarten. No aid is available for our Early Childhood students.

Please do not underestimate the value of investing in an outstanding education for your child. We welcome the opportunity to join in a financial partnership that will make it possible for your child to attend Greensboro Day School.
