An Arts education promotes self-directed learning, and sharpens critical and creative skills. Additionally, research has clearly shown that what students learn in the arts helps them to master other subjects, such as reading, math and social studies. The evidence is clear: the Arts contribute to student achievement and success in school and beyond.
