Alumni and past parents, faculty and trustees are invited to join current parents, faculty and trustees for a night of celebration!

Where: Carlton M. Harris '76 soccer field on the GDS campus

• The BENGAL BLUES, featuring faculty members Jason Cheek, Ben Hil, Randy Mintz, Bill Moore and Sonny Willis '96
• The GREENER GRASS, featuring faculty members Judy Arnette, Karen Collins, Scott Walker and Ben Hill
• SOUL CENTRAL, one of Greensboro's hottest bands

MENU OF THE EVENING:

• "Bubble-Q", complete pig-fixins' with a special glass of champagne (from Elizabeth Karmel '79 and the Pit Master in Raleigh)
• Truffle Fries, Duck Sliders, Black Bean Cakes, and Collard Greens with Cornbread (from Green Valley Grille, Lucky 32 and Printworks Bistro)
• Spicy Tuna Roll, Thai Chicken Basil Stir-Fry, and Vegetable Fried Rice (from Phoenix Asian Cuisine)
• Crispy salmon with Goat Lady cheese and Dijon crème fraiche, field greens and cucumbers and bacon, leek and gruyere tartlets with asparagus tips and tomato vinaigrette (from Reto Biaggi)
• DESSERTS from FLIK: Caramel apple empanadas, key lime tartletts, blondies cupcake style, and cheesecake lolli-pops (dipped in chocolate)

We have reached the 700 mark on RSVP's! This is the largest all-school celebration in GDS history. COME MAKE HISTORY WITH US this Saturday at 6:30 pm on the soccer field.

We are still in need of some volunteers in the following areas:

• Assistant to the Bartender: 8:00 – 9:00
• Assistant to the 2000 tent: 9:00 – 10:00
• Assistant to the 1990’s tent: 9:00 – 10:00
• Registration / tickets: 9:00 – 10:00 (two spaces)

• The dress is CASUAL! Bluejeans, flip flops, sandals, or shorts.... whatever you feel most comfortable in.
• We do have nametags for EVERYONE who RSVP'd. If you plan to come and haven't RSVP'd, please let us know by replying to this e-mail.
• AVOID THE LINES! Get your GDS "fastpass" by registering early and buying your food/drink tokens on FRIDAY from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit Nancy Roberts in the Advancement Office to pre-purchase your $5 tokens and pick-up your nametag. Just don't forget to bring everything with you on Saturday night!
• Bring CASH or CHECKS for all purchases. Unfortunately, we won't be able to take credit cards on Saturday night.
• CARPOOL if you can. There will be a lot of people joining us on Saturday. We will reserve the entire Dillard Circle spaces for handicap parking.
