myGDS Parent Portal
Greensboro Day School’s parent portal is called myGDS. You will be able to access myGDS starting June 1 using the same account information you used during the application process. Look for the myGDS link in the main navigation section of our website.

August 16: GDS Parent Kickoff to the New School Year
We look forward to welcoming all of our returning and new parents to campus on Sunday, August 16, from 3–6 p.m. to learn everything you need to know about the first day of school. All parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend. This event is for adults only. Click here for the schedule and details.
August 17: Preschool and Lower School New Student Drop-In
New students and families in Bengal Tots (Age 2) through Grade 4 are invited to drop by any time between 9–10 a.m. to visit classrooms and meet teachers. There is no formal program, so please stop in when time allows. Parking will be available in the North (preschool) Lot and in the visitor spaces alongside the Lower School. Students and parents are encouraged to stay for the All School Open House from 10–11 a.m.
August 17: All School Open House
New and returning families are invited to come to campus between 10–11 a.m. to drop off homeroom/advisory supplies, shop at the Campus Bookstore and Bengal Closet, say a quick hello to teachers in their classrooms, and enjoy popsicles. There is no formal program, so please stop in when time allows. Parking will be available in the South (arts and athletics) Lot, the Middle School Lot, and the North (preschool) Lot.
August 17: New Student Orientation for Middle and Upper School Students, including all Fifth and Ninth Grade Students
All new students in Grades 5–11 will come to campus from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. to enjoy community building, fun, and lunch. Click here for the schedule and details.
August 18: First Day of School!
First day of school for Bengal Tots–Grade 12! Carpool begins at 7:45 a.m.
