Review Summer Reading and Summer Assignments. Students rising into grades 5–12 have summer reading assignments. Students enrolled in certain for the 2024–25 school year should complete the summer assignments. Assignments are required unless marked as optional.

Order Special Occasion Attire

This fall, GDS will host a book discussion of The Anxious Generation for teachers, parents, and guardians who would like to gather in person to discuss.

If you would like to open your home next fall to host this book club discussion please email Gail Bernstein at gailbernstein@greensboroday.org. More details will follow in August when we return for the 2024–25 school year.

For Lower School parents who are thinking about that smart phone purchase for middle school - GDS recommends that parents wait until 8th grade for smartphones and wait until age 16 for social media. 

Families of students in Bengal Tots, Bitty Bengals, and Junior Kindergarten should review this important information.
