Bus Service

Getting your student to and from GDS has never been easier! Our Bengal Bus program offers convenient, reliable transportation across the greater Greensboro area as well as to and from Burlington and High Point. Some of our current pickup and drop-off points are marked below.

Annual rates for the 2026–27 school year are listed below. Because our transportation program depends on consistent ridership to run smoothly, the fees associated with a signed contract for the school year remain in place regardless of absences due to athletics, drama, illness, or other reasons. We’re not able to prorate for missed days, but we do offer prorated options for families who need regular two- or three-day service. Daily rates are also available for occasional transportation needs. Financial aid for transportation is offered on a limited basis—reach out to learn more.

If your student earns a driver’s license during the school year and plans to drive to campus, please let us know in writing before that first drive to school. Existing transportation contracts and fees for the year will continue as agreed and aren’t eligible for cancellation or adjustment based on a change in driving status.

Bengal Bus

Discount for Multiple Riders

Additional child(ren) receive a 20% discount on transportation fees. The third (or more) child from a single household will ride for free.

Daily Rates for Non-Regular Riders

  • Both Ways: $26
  • One Way: $15 for all routes.
