Dining

Mornings are busy—lunch doesn’t have to be.

At Greensboro Day School, all K–12 students participate in our inclusive dining program, enjoying fresh, cooked-from-scratch, seasonal lunches prepared on campus. Our dining partner, SAGE Dining Services, works with registered dietitians to create menus that are nutritious, balanced, and thoughtfully inclusive of a wide range of dietary considerations, so parents can feel confident their children are well nourished and well cared for. Students may even discover a new favorite food along the way!

The W Dining Commons

The W is Greensboro Day School’s brand-new dining commons—a gathering place for daily meals and shared moments. Designed to serve our entire K–12 community, The W offers a bright, comfortable space where students come together over fresh, thoughtfully prepared food. Beyond providing a place to eat, The W gives students time to slow down, sit together, and build relationships in a setting that reflects the care and intention behind our dining program. Meals at The W are not just about nourishment, but also about community.

Daily offerings include the following food stations:

  • Crossroads: Food truck-inspired entree and sides
  • Freestyle: Entree free of top allergens, served by trained staff
  • Main Ingredient: Main entree and sides
  • Trattoria: Pasta and pizza
  • Ladle & Co.: Soup
  • Improvisations: Salad and topping bar
  • Classic Cuts: Deli and sandwich bar
  • Splashes: Beverage stations (water, spa water, milk)
