Visiting Campus

All visitors must check in at the Visitor Welcome Booth at 4700 Lake Brandt Road, where they will receive a visitors badge. The badge must be worn at all times while on campus.

When visiting the Helen Monroe Preschool, check in at the Visitor Welcome Booth and walk from the Welcome Booth to the front doors of the Preschool. Ring the doorbell to notify the Receptionist and be admitted.

Early Pickup, Late Drop-Off, Deliveries, BCC Pickup, and Enrichment Pickup

• Early Pickup, Late Drop-Off, and Deliveries: Please follow the visitor procedure described above for all of these actions. Since preschool parents need to enter the building to pick up, drop off and deliver items, they must have a visitors badge to gain entrance to the preschool.
• BCC Pickup: There is no change to this procedure. BCC pickup happens at the Preschool for all BCC students. 
• Enrichment Pickup: There is no change to this procedure. The gate at the Visitor Welcome Booth will open before enrichment pickup begins, and parents will be able to line up next to the Lower School Building.

When visiting the Lower School, check in at the Visitor Welcome Booth, then continue past the gate and park in a visitors spot at the Lower School. Proceed to the lower school main entrance and ring the doorbell to notify the Administrative Assistant and be admitted.

Visitors who are picking up a child early, delivering forgotten items (such as lunch or clothing), dropping off a child late, or otherwise coming briefly to campus will not need to check in, since they are not entering a campus building. 

• Early Pickup, Late Drop-Off, and Deliveries: Stop at the Visitor Welcome Booth and let the Security Officer know what your need is. They will open the gate, and you can park in a visitors spot at the Lower School. Proceed to the lower school entrance and use the intercom to let the Administrative Assistant know what you need. They will come to the door to retrieve a child or item, or they will bring your child to the door for early dismissal. 
• BCC Pickup: There is no change to this procedure. BCC pickup happens at the Preschool for all BCC students. 
• Enrichment Pickup: There is no change to this procedure. The gate at the Visitor Welcome Booth will open before enrichment pickup begins, and parents will be able to line up next to the Lower School Building.

When visiting the Bell Family Middle School, check in at the Visitor Welcome Booth and then drive to the Middle School via Lake Brandt Road. The Administrative Assistant will open the gate so you can park. Proceed to the entrance and ring the doorbell to notify the Administrative Assistant and be admitted.

Early Pickup, Late Drop-Off, Deliveries, and After School Homework Hangout

Visitors who are picking up a child early, delivering forgotten items (such as lunch or clothing), dropping off a child late, or otherwise coming briefly to campus will not need to check in, since they are not entering a campus building. 

• Early Pickup and Late Drop-Off: Go directly to the entrance of the Bell Family Middle School on Lake Brandt Road. Use the intercom at the gate to let the Administrative Assistant know who you are picking up or dropping off. Proceed through the gate once it is open and park in front of the Middle School. If picking up, your child will be sent out to you. If dropping off, your child can proceed inside.
• Deliveries: Go directly to the entrance of the Bell Family Middle School on Lake Brandt Road. Use the intercom at the gate to let the Administrative Assistant know that you are dropping something off. Proceed through the gate once it is open and park in front of the Middle School. Use the intercom to let the Administrative Assistant know you have arrived, and they will come to the door to retrieve the item.
• After School Homework Hangout: There is no change to this procedure. Pickup is at McMillion Media Center, utilizing the intercom located at the Bell Family Middle School to communicate with staff.

When visiting the Smith Upper School, check in at the Visitor Welcome Booth and then continue past the gate and park in a visitors spot. Proceed down the stairs to the upper school entrance and ring the doorbell to notify the Administrative Assistant and be admitted. Students are not permitted to open the doors for visitors. 

Early Pickup, Late Drop-Off, or Deliveries

Visitors who are picking up a child early, delivering forgotten items (such as lunch or clothing), dropping off a child late, or otherwise coming briefly to campus will not need to check in, since they are not entering a campus building. 

• Early Pickup and Late Drop-Off: Students can sign themselves in and out as long as parents have communicated the early pickup or late drop-off to the Upper School Administrative Assistant. Drop-off and pickup occurs in Dillard Circle.
• Deliveries: Stop at the Visitor Welcome Booth to be let in through the gates that lead to the main entrance of the Upper School. Park in a visitors spot and use the intercom to let the Administrative Assistant know you have arrived, and they will come to the door to retrieve the item.
