After submitting the application, you will receive further information about the following steps.
Step 2 - Teacher Information Form
Bengal Tot (2-year-old) applicants are required to submit a Developmental Questionnaire. This form may be completed by a teacher, caregiver, or parent.
For Bitty Bengal and Jr. Kindergarten applicants, your child's current preschool/daycare teacher will be asked to complete a Teacher Information Form. We encourage teachers to email or mail these forms directly to GDS after completion. If your child does not attend any type of school setting, this form will be waived from the process.
It is the family's responsibility to give these forms to their child's current teacher/school.
GDSmay contact your child's current preschool or childcare program to set-up a time to visit your child in his/her current, familiar environment. A family may also request this visit if they feel it would be beneficial and necessary to the application process.
Step 3 - Parent Questionnaire Form
No one knows your child like you do! To help us better serve your child and family, parents are asked to complete a Parent Questionnaire and return it directly to your Admission Counselor.
All applicants for Early Childhood are required to participate in a developmentally appropriate screening.
Early Childhood applicants will attend a Saturday morning Play Dateduring which teachers will observe and engage the children in a variety of social and academic activities. The purpose of the play date is to see how children interact with peers and adults, as well as observe age-appropriate school readiness skills.
The Admission Office will notify families when play dates are scheduled.

Application fees must be received prior to play dates being scheduled.
