Furthermore, GDS has helped me create lifelong relationships through playing sports, doing group projects, volunteering, and many more activities that I will never forget. GDS faculty and staff helped me so much throughout my journey. They were always there to help and were determined to do so, and I am so thankful for them.

I came to GDS at the beginning of my junior year. Since then I've felt nothing but immense gratitude for the relationships I've had with both my peers and teachers. I've been in four different schools, and this surpasses all of them by far. My only regret is I didn't come sooner.

It prepares them not only for college, but also for life outside of college. They are nurtured, challenged, supported, and encouraged daily to be better than the day before. What more could I ask for?

Knowing I have the most supportive teachers behind my back if I ever need help from afar, is a wonderful feeling to have as I move on to this next chapter in my life. And as I do that, I know I’m prepared. I had loving and caring friends, tutors, and teachers who were willing to sit and help me through any problem, whether it was educational or personal

At GDS, I learned good note-taking, reading comprehension, and research skills that prepared me for college-level work. I also learned how to be a responsible, motivated, and self-reliant student. I learned how to work collaboratively with my peers and to respect and value the ideas and perspectives that they have to offer. The combination of academic and interpersonal skills that GDS taught me has given me a definite advantage in the collegiate setting.
