Athletics
Interscholastic athletics are an essential part of the educational experience at Greensboro Day School. We view athletic competition as a chance for students to participate and achieve, build character and confidence, and to develop life skills that extend beyond the playing field. We offer nearly 40 teams, so every student has the opportunity to play.
Our program gives students the opportunity to build lasting friendships and develop the lifelong skills of teamwork, perseverance, and determination. Athletic competition allows students not only to strive for excellence, but also to develop the qualities of good character and sportsmanship.
Expectations for all our Bengal student-athletes are based on our Community Cornerstones of Respect, Kindness, Integrity, and Responsibility.
