Bengal Closet

The Bengal Closet is a GDS clothing resale store operated by the Parents Association. Check the school calendar for hours that we are open for you to shop for new-to-you items at a great price—most items are $5!

Location

In the spring of 2026, the Bengal Closet will move to its new home in The Center for Student Life and the F.M. Kirby III Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Look for us in our new location adjacent to the Campus Store!

Hours

Regular store hours are Fridays from 8–10 a.m. when school is in session, but we are happy to meet GDS faculty/staff and parents at other times by appointment. Use the Contact Us button on this page to make an appointment.

We are also open the day before and on Special Occasion Attire days, as well as various back-to-school events and other special days that will be listed on the GDS calendar and in PawPrints.

Donate Your Items to Bengal Closet

We accept all sizes of all Special Occasion Attire: khaki bottoms, white button downs, and the GDS-specific items (ties, scarves, sweaters). We also accept GDS spirit wear and team clothes (no socks). Donation baskets are located near the office in every division, as well as inside the main office.
