Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service

Bengal Paws for Service is an annual day of service that brings GDS families, students, faculty, and staff together to work with a variety of area nonprofits. 

There are many ways to get involved this year:

Use the links in the Volunteer section below to sign up for in-person, hands-on projects. Volunteer opportunities are available both on and off campus on Monday, January 19, (MLK Day of Service) or Saturday, January 17.

BRING IT

We are now collecting items that local organizations need. See the Collections section below for details.

Click the Bengal Paws for Service Amazon link to order needed items, which will be automatically delivered to the school to distribute to the organizations. Items are as low as $4.

Bengal Paws for Service

National Day of Service

Bengal Paws for Service is held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This federal holiday is designated as a National Day of Service to celebrate this civil rights leader’s life and legacy and to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
