Learn to Play Mahjong

Intro to 3D Printing

In this hands-on, three-session course, you’ll go from complete beginner to confidently designing and printing your own creations. Starting with the fundamentals of how 3D printers work, you'll learn to navigate design software, troubleshoot common printing hiccups, and finish your pieces like a pro, all while building three take-home projects: a personalized keychain, a functional phone stand, and a two-part storage box you design and assemble yourself. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands on the tech shaping everything from art to medicine to manufacturing. Monoprinting

Over three hands-on sessions, discover the secrets of paper engineering—the captivating art behind pop-up books and structural paper crafts. From foundational folds and kinetic pull-tabs to advanced 3D-sculpted spreads, you will master the mechanics of precision cutting, scoring, and binding. By the end of this workshop, you will walk away with a custom reference sampler book and your very own fully bound, multipage pop-up book. Pottery Basics

In a relaxed, welcoming studio atmosphere, you’ll discover the soothing art of ceramic craft while creating custom pieces from scratch. Woodworking 101: Kitchen Tools

Learn essential shop safety and basic woodworking techniques while creating a wooden kitchen spatula and a custom cutting board to take home. Across three 90-minute sessions in our GDS woodshop, we’ll employ a variety of woodworking tools, including the band saw, belt sander, drill press, table saw, planer, and table router, to shape, assemble, and smooth your projects, then apply a food-safe finish. This hands-on class is designed for adults with little to no prior woodworking experience.
