For this Corporate Friends Spotlight, we are highlighting Jessica Davison Haverland ’92. Jessica has been an award-winning REALTOR® since 2004 and joined Tyler Redhead & McAlister Real Estate in 2017. She and veteran Greensboro agent Katie Redhead founded the Redhead Haverland Team within the namesake brokerage in 2023.

What would you like the GDS community to know about you and the work you do?
GDS helped shape my sense of community, determination, and connection. Those qualities define how I approach my work today. As a Realtor, I serve a wide range of clients with diverse needs, and I pride myself on listening carefully, navigating complexity with confidence, and advocating fiercely on their behalf. The foundation I gained at GDS—collaboration, integrity, and resolve—continues to guide my career.

What inspired you to continue your sponsorship with GDS this year?
My family’s roots at GDS run deep. My father’s two decades as Head of School, my years here as a student, and later as a parent, have created a lasting bond with this school. Continuing my sponsorship is a meaningful way to honor that legacy and remain actively invested in a community that has shaped multiple generations of my family.

As an alumna of GDS, what’s a favorite memory of your time here as a student?
Senior dress-up day will always make me smile, and my time on the volleyball team stands out as well. Both experiences captured the spirit of camaraderie, school pride, and joy that made my years at GDS so special.

How does supporting GDS align with your company’s values or mission?
I vividly remember Tracie emphasizing that GDS is committed to educating and nurturing the whole student. As a parent, I experienced firsthand how deeply this school community cares. In my real estate practice, my clients’ goals become my goals. I am fully committed to securing the best possible outcome for them, and just as importantly, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout the process. That shared philosophy of whole-person care and unwavering commitment makes supporting GDS a natural extension of my professional values.

What do you enjoy about continuing to be involved with the GDS community?
I genuinely love this school. I am grateful for the role it has played in my life and in my son’s life. It is both a privilege and a joy to continue supporting a community that means so much to our family.
