Sixth Grader Named National Letters about Literature Competition Finalist

Congratulations to Annika Deedy ’25 who was recognized as the winner of the North Carolina Level 1 Letters About Literature competition. Annika’s letter will now be entered into the national round of judging. The letter writer selected for first place at the national level is eligible to receive a cash award of $2,000. Two honorable mention winners will be selected for a prize worth $500. Winners will be announced in late May or early June 2019.
Annika’s wrote about the poem “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley.
