Greensboro Day School Employees Honored at Other Voices Graduation Celebration

Two Greensboro Day School employees were recognized during the 2019 Other Voices Class Graduation Celebration on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Other Voices is a leadership development and community building program developed by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.

Congratulations to Laura Shue, Lower School Assistant Director for her participation and graduation from the Other Voices Class of 2019. Participants develop skills and strategies to understand and eradicate prejudice and discrimination on a personal, organization and community level.

Congratulations to Mark Hale, Head of School who was recognized as a 2019 Change Agent Award Honoree. The Change Agent Award is awarded annually and designed to recognize and reward outstanding leadership in Greensboro, primarily focused on the commitment to diversity. This prestigious award is presented to Other Voices alumni, Chamber of Commerce members and others from the community at large who demonstrate exemplary leadership, positively affecting the cultural diversity and inclusiveness of the citizens and community of Greensboro.
