Andrea Hunt Honored as Volunteer of the Year

During the May Parents’ Association meeting, Andrea Hunt was recognized as the 2019 Parents’ Association Volunteer of the Year.

Andrea is an active PA volunteer. She currently serves as the VP of Fundraising, working to develop partnerships for the Parents’ Association. She also serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee as a parent liaison. 

Andrea can regularly be seen cheering on the Bengals at sporting events, attending concerts, or supporting the International Food Night, serving delicious Jamaican food. She often makes phone calls on behalf of the Annual Fund and reminds others to use Amazon Smile and to collect their Box Tops to benefit GDS.

Andrea is known for being a cheerleader and steadfast supporter for all things green and gold.

Andrea is married to Mark and their daughter Cynthia-Mae is a senior at GDS.
