Parent and Student Education: Got Sleep?

Dr. Archana Kumar, Medical Director for Cone Behavioral Health, will join the GDS Community on November 13, 2019, at 7 p.m. to share the latest research and instruction on proper sleep habits.

Please make plans to join Dr. Kumar as she helps parents think through current sleep habits in our children's lives and how we can take steps to improve or support positive sleep habits. RSVP at greensboroday.org/parenteducation.
The following day, November 14, 2019, Greensboro Day School will host an all-school pajama day to focus on and celebrate the importance of sleep. GDS Alumna and Cone Health Nurse Practioner, Caroline Tedder Hacker '06, will join the Middle and Upper School students in assemblies to educate our students on the role sleep plays in their academic and social-emotional well-being. We welcome parents and faculty/staff to encourage their student's participation and excitement by wearing pajamas as well.
Greensboro Day School develops the intellectual, ethical, and interpersonal foundations students need to become constructive contributors to the world.
