Students, Teachers, and Board Members attend People of Color Conference

Greensboro Day School is represented at the NAIS People of Color Conference by students, faculty members, and Board of Trustee members. 

Sofia Brennan '24, Kate Wingate '23, Dr. Ayesha Swinton, Carey Jackson-Adams, Yasten Burton, Holly Jones, and Heather Wilson will attend the 2021 conference virtually. PoCC is the flagship of NAIS’s commitment to equity and justice in teaching, learning, and organizational development. The conference's mission is to provide a safe space for leadership and professional development for people of color, and networking for people of color and allies of all backgrounds in independent schools. 
Greensboro Day School develops the intellectual, ethical, and interpersonal foundations students need to become constructive contributors to the world.
