Indoor Track Returns to GDS

After a two-year hiatus, the Greensboro Day School Indoor Track Team recently participated in the Liberty Premier Invitational at Liberty University.  This event included hundreds of student-athletes from around the nation. GDS runners Gabriella Fernandes-Brough ’22, Oliver Kreimer ’22, Paige McKee ’23, Dana Wilson ’25, Lucy Eggleston ’26, Hudson Sharpe ’28, and India Wilson ’28 participated in the meet.

Congratulations to Dana Wilson, who earned a 2nd place medal in the girls’ 55m dash out of 120 participants and 3rd place in the girls’ 300m out of 102 participants. Dana currently holds the 8th fastest time in the nation, 4th in North Carolina in the girls’ 55m, and the 11th fastest in North Carolina for the girls’ 300m.

The team will return to the track for the Guilford County Indoor Championships at JDL in Winston Salem on January 24. Good Luck, Bengals!
