Students Selected for 2018 Honors Chorus

More than 800 students across NC auditioned for the 2018 honors chorus. 160 students were selected with the highest scores from across the state. Lucas Pedroso '24, Kate Wingate '23 and Jacob Shepperson '23 were selected to sing in this prestigious choir.

After learning all of their music prior to the event, these students traveled to Winston Salem to rehearse and put on a spectacular concert. They worked with NC native and well-known composer and conductor, Tom Shelton. These students experienced what it was like to be a part of a professional choir and how to use music to connect with others.
