Winter Term Class Publishes Online Student News

The Bengal Beat is a student-led news organization focused on providing the GDS community with the interesting, honest, and accurate portrayals of events and stories. The club is led by head student editors Celia Levy '20, Eleanor Manning '21, and Karlton Gaskin '19. Max Walters '20 serves as design editor and is responsible for the layout of the publication. English teacher Thomas Szott is the faculty advisor of the club.

If you have a topic or event that you believe should be reported, please email any of the editors or Mr. Szott.  This first edition was written and produced by members of the winter term journalism classes. Access the Bengal Beat here or through the Bengal Beat resource board in myGDS.
