At Greensboro Day School, the partnership of students, teachers and parents is paramount in our school community. These relationships can be celebrated by remembering someone special with a commemoration gift.
Any gift – of any amount – can be made in honor or memory of someone special. Many donors make their Annual Fund gift in honor of a graduating senior or a special teacher. For all commemorative gifts, the Advancement Office sends a note to the honoree sharing with them the name and address (but not the amount of the gift) of the donor that has made a tribute to them. The honoree and the donor are also listed in the Annual Report for that year.
Donors frequently ask to celebrate someone special with a unique and lasting gift. Greensboro Day provides opportunities for such tributes – honorariums or memorials – with a lasting gift of an inscribed brick, tree or bench.
