Please enjoy these signs as Greensboro Day School students return to school. Please print the signs you need for your child's grade.
Take a photo of your child on his or her first day holding their sign and email to Crissy Anderson for inclusion in our Back to School photo album to be shared on social media. We can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces on the 1st day of school, August 22!
Students in rising grades 5th - 12th have summer reading assignments. Please use the PDF's to review the lists and specific details for each grade. *New this year, 6th and 7th grades selected their book prior to the end of the school year. Please refer to the PDF for the assignment and rubric.

Students in rising grades 6-12 can purchase textbooks through the Bengal Bookstore.
The deadline to order textbooks is Wednesday, August 15.
Reminder: Parents receive between 35% - 50% of the cost of their student’s textbooks as a credit on their student billing account when they sell the books back to the Bengal Bookstore at the end of the year. For example: The average student spends $350 for textbooks, but after a 40% credit the net cost is $210.
If you choose to purchase your books through an online site such as Amazon, we will be unable to buy back those books at the end of the school year. We can only buy back books that were purchased in the Bengal Bookstore.
