Bengal Tots

Greensboro Day School is pleased to offer enrichment classes for children ages 18 months - 3 years old. "Bengal Tots" and their caregivers will experience theme-based classes that offer developmentally appropriate hands-on activities with cross-curricular ties. Topics may include: 

  • Art
  • Science
  • World Language
  • Literacy
  • Physical Movement
  • Music 
Our goal is to partner with you in your child's development by offering activities that stimulate their social/emotional, language, cognitive and physical skills ... all through interactive play!

  • Q: Where are the classes held?

    Bengal Tots will meet in "The Cottage" near the intersection of Lawndale Dr and Lake Brandt Rd. The Cottage is a cozy environment, well-equiped to host small children and their families. Diaper changing facilities are provided as well as a sitting area, kitchen, and of course lots of room for play! There is an adjacent playground perfect for playing after class. 
  • Q: When are classes offered?

    Currently, classes will be offered 2-3 times per month and on different mornings of the week. We hope that this will allow everyone to find a class that suits their schedule!

  • Q: Is there a fee?

    There is a $10 fee per class to cover cost of materials and instruction.
  • Q: Who teaches the classes?

    All Bengal Tots classes are instructed by Greensboro Day School faculty members who have both the expertise and passion to work with young children.
  • Q: What if there is inclement weather?

    Winter sometimes brings unexpected weather conditions. We will do our very best to advise you in advance of any cancellations. Please check in with Greensboro Day School before you set out for a Bengal Tots session if there is any inclement weather. School closings (including Bengal Tots) will be posted to and on local news stations. Your family's safety is our greatest concern.  If we do need to cancel, your payment will be credited toward a future Bengal Tots class.
