10 Students Compete in Elementary Battle of the Books

The Elementary Battle of the Books (EBOB) team competed in the EBOB competition on Monday, March 5. This event is sponsored by the NC School Library Media Association, hosted by the Cannon School. EBOB is open to 4th and 5th graders.
This year’s team has been preparing since November under the direction of Laura Hines, Lower School Media Specialist. The EBOB team is comprised of the following students:

Participating independent schools in our region include The Cannon School, Westchester Country Day School, Salisbury Academy, and the O’Neal School.  Greensboro Day School tied for 4th in this year’s competition. Students compete to test their knowledge of 15 books from the official EBOB book list.
