It was wonderful to see so many students attend the middle school dance this past weekend. Thank you to the middle school student council members, parents, and faculty who made this possible. Based on the success of this event it looks like we have a new middle school tradition.
The heart of our work is grounded in the knowledge that children learn best when they are actively engaged with ideas, materials, and people. Your preschool children were intentionally engaged with all three last week!
Every now and then, there is a week which just seems to capture the spirit of a place - last week was one of those weeks in the upper school. The following activities highlight the multi-faceted, and dynamic nature of an upper school experience at GDS.
This year, GDS will welcome Guatemalan students to campus through the Faces & Our Cultures Program.
The delicious adventures of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantastical tale.
