Chatham Rabbits Bring Folk Music to GDS
On October 7, we were thrilled to welcome guest musicians Austin and Sarah McCombie, who perform as Chatham Rabbits.
Chatham Rabbits performed for the Lower School in Sloan Theatre and put on a mini-concert for Bitty Bengals. They also held several sessions with third graders. In addition to learning a bluegrass song, students worked with Austin and Sarah to create their own verse of unique lyrics.
We are grateful for the support of The Mad Society, who made this wonderful opportunity possible for our students. We are thankful for their work on behalf of the arts at GDS!
