GDS Celebrates the Year of the Horse
On February 25, Greensboro Day School marked the Lunar New Year with a colorful campus celebration hosted by the Chinese Club. Students, parents, and faculty gathered to enjoy an afternoon of culture, community, and hands-on fun.
Guests tested their skills in the Chopstick Challenge, tried their hand at Chinese calligraphy, spun traditional Chinese yo-yos, and sampled dumplings and sugar strawberries.
The Chinese Club also led an upper school assembly that included a student-made video, a student and staff fashion show, and vocal and dance performances.
Thank you to the Chinese Club for once again bringing this tradition to life for our community!
