GDS Gives Back During Bengal Paws for Service

On November 5, the GDS community came together for Bengal Paws for Service—a morning spent in service to our community. Bengal families headed off campus to lend a hand at organizations such as New Arrivals Institute, Peacehaven Farm, and Out of the Garden. On campus, families kept busy making cards for veterans and seniors at Well-Spring Retirement Community. Other families chose to participate by contributing to our donation drives for Crayons Matter and Pathways Family Shelter.

No matter how they participated, we are grateful to all the Bengal families who showed up to help our community. We’d also like to give a special thanks to Brook Wingate and DeAnn Carlson for all their hard work in organizing this wonderful day of service.
