GDS Honors Veterans with Community Panel Discussion
In honor of Veterans Day, GDS hosted a panel featuring community members who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The event welcomed two GDS parents—Dr. MaryEllen Pace, United States Air Force, and Whitney Spells, United States Army—along with Roderick Fludd, GDS Dean of Campus Life and United States Army veteran.
A special thank you goes to our moderators, who helped guide an engaging and thoughtful discussion: fourth grade students at the lower school assembly, Henry Permar ’30 at the middle school assembly, and Yamil Alvarado-Andino ’27 at the upper school assembly.
