GDS Makes First Supply Delivery to Western North Carolina
On October 6, the GDS bus made its first supply run to Boone, where it was greeted by GDS alumna and App State faculty member Dr. Margaret Brown ’97. Some of the supplies were delivered to Watauga High School, which is an active supply site for Boone residents. The rest of the supplies are on their way to the rural town of Spruce Pine.
Every Sunday, Greensboro Day School will transport supplies via school bus to Western North Carolina. The supply list will evolve based on community needs.
