We are pleased to announce that Cindy McArthur will join the Greensboro Day School community on September 26, 2023, as our new Director of Auxiliary Operations. A graduate of Elon University, Cindy is thrilled to return to the Triad.
Cindy comes to us from the Pingry School, an independent day school in New Jersey with over 1,100 students spread across three campuses. Cindy has served as the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Pingry since 2014. Before that, Cindy served for more than a decade as a youth and performing arts director at The Connection in New Jersey, a career she began after working as a professional performer and choreographer in the world of musical theatre.
As Director of Auxiliary Operations, Cindy will oversee summer camps, Bengal Cub Club (BCC), After School Enrichment, Middle School Homework Club, and facility rentals. She especially looks forward to offering leadership guidance for our bustling summer camps program led by Director of Summer Programs Holly Hofbauer. Cindy will also work collaboratively with our Athletics Office to build a robust intramural program in the middle and upper schools.
