GDS Receives $100,000 Grant from E. E. Ford Foundation

We are excited to report that GDS has been awarded a $100,000 national grant from the prestigious E. E. Ford Foundation to expand programming that will support our strategic plan goals and mission—students as constructive contributors to the world. The funds will provide opportunities designed to deepen our students’ engagement and connection in the Triad and build on our existing service learning programming, such as Bengal Paws for Service and the Tiny House project. Funds from the grant will also expand our Student Philanthropy Council’s reach by supporting student-driven grant requests and entrepreneurial endeavors at a higher level.
