Mallory Pitts ’28 Wins Carolinas Junior Girls Title

Congratulations to sophomore Mallory Pitts, who rallied from three strokes behind to claim her first-ever Carolinas Golf Association championship at the Carolinas Junior Girls’ Championship, held June 20–23 at WildeWood Club in Columbia, South Carolina.

Entering the final round trailing the leader by three, Mallory kept her composure and delivered a solid 2-under-par 70 in the closing round. Her five birdies and three bogeys gave her a two-stroke victory, finishing the 54-hole tournament at even-par 216. The win cements Mallory’s status among the region’s top junior players and qualifies her for the US Girls Junior Championship.
