Musical Groups Shine at Spring Concerts
There was music in the air during the last few weeks of April as our band, choral, and orchestra ensembles presented their spring concerts. The orchestra and concert band performed several pieces together at each of their concerts, and these pieces included surprise appearances from some current and former members of the GDS faculty and staff. The orchestra concert concluded with a touching tribute to strings teacher Karen Collins, who is retiring at the end of this school year after 20 years of service.
