Students’ Work on Display at Greensboro Cultural Center

Student members of the National Chinese Honor Society extended their learning beyond the classroom by curating a public art exhibition in partnership with the Greensboro Cultural Center.

Students led the process from start to finish, including researching community spaces, coordinating communication, and designing the display. The exhibition showcases original student artwork drawing on elements of Chinese culture, including the Terracotta Army, the architecture of traditional courtyard homes, and classic blue-and-white porcelain. The work is a great example of students’ creativity, collaboration, and leadership; through this experience, students demonstrated ownership of their learning while proudly sharing their work with the wider community.

The exhibition is at the Greensboro Cultural Center through February 18.
