Suzanne Billips is 2025 Brooks Sabbatical Recipient

Congratulations to Learning Support Department Chair and Lower School Learning Support Coordinator Suzanne Billips, who is the 2025 recipient of the Brooks Sabbatical!

This prestigious award, presented annually since 1996, funds national or international travel that will serve as the basis for study, research, and personal growth. The Brooks Sabbatical is possible thanks to an endowment created by Dr. Jean Brooks, one of our school’s founding members.

Suzanne plans to travel to Australia to visit the country’s most famous cultural, historical, and natural sites: the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbor Bridge, the Great Barrier Reef, the rainforest of Daintree National Park, and Uluru, a site sacred to Australia’s indigenous people. These visits will be followed by a stop in New Zealand.
