TEDx GDS Youth Explores the Power of Joy
On October 25, Greensboro Day School hosted its second TEDx GDS Youth, where speakers explored the many aspects of Joy.
The lineup of speakers included students Julia Soutto Mayor Guimarães ’27, Anna Jain, Yarina Hasiu ’26, and Thaïs Codron ’28; faculty members Dr. Tracie Catlett, Cory Stephenson, and Katie Wells; and Duke assistant professor Dr. Suzanne Crifo.
TEDx GDS Youth was developed and organized by GDS upper school students, with support from the upper school faculty and administration. Congratulations to Audrey Fang ’26, Kinsi Winn ’26, Yarina Hasiu, Chloe Thongteum ’28, Henry Moody ’28, and Julia Soutto Mayor Guimarães for organizing this outstanding community event.
