Visiting Musician Highlights Work of Classical Black Composer
On January 27, GDS welcomed virtuoso violinist and Greensboro native Ronald Long to campus to perform for students. Mr. Long also spoke with students about the French-Caribbean classical composer Chevalier de Saint-Georges, whose life is featured in the upcoming movie Chevalier. Mr. Long performed the violin music featured in the movie and also coached the film’s lead on violin technique.
