Each year, our Founders Day Assembly gives us the opportunity to come together to express appreciation and gratitude for our school community.
This year’s Founders Day Assembly was held on March 20 and featured special guest speaker Wayne Robinson ’76. Mr. Robinson spoke about his experience as the first Black student to attend Greensboro Day School and challenged the audience to continue cultivating a kind and caring community by treating others the way they would like to be treated.
The assembly also featured students from all four divisions who offered reflections on our four Community Cornerstones. Thanks to student speakers Margot Manning ’24 (Integrity), Boston Gilmer ’30 (Responsibility), Aanya Modi ’32 (Respect), and Zachary Nkrumah ’37 (Kindness).
