Winter Concerts Showcase Musical Talent at GDS
The week of December 5 was a big one for the music program at GDS, with both middle and upper school students getting a chance to let their talents shine.
Afternoon concerts let fifth and sixth graders showcase what they have been learning in music class this quarter, while evening concerts put the spotlight on our strings, band, and choral ensembles, featuring students in grades 7–12.
Congratulations to strings director Karen Collins, band director Brandon Bickham, choral director Sonny Willis ’96, and all our student performers for contributing to a wonderful week of music at GDS!
We’d also like to thank the MAD Society for providing the black concert dresses worn by Noteworthy during the choral concert.
